Dreams can be both relieving and exhausting, revealing and confusing, energizing and dazing. This drawing represents what I experienced when I woke up from a dream on the morning of the 12th.
I felt jolted out of my dream world, having to get up and immediately prepare for that day's work shift. I felt as if I didn't have enough time to simply sit and think about my dreams. For hours after waking I felt disconnected, confused and extremely 'off'.
During work I was working with customers, organizing merchandise and many other activities that kept my physical body moving. Yet, during all of the movement I was doing, my mental state felt frozen in time in attempt to stay within what I was experiencing in my dream.
