Framed Original Polaroid Print, Hell Gate Bridge in Astoria Queens
Framed Original Polaroid Print, Hell Gate Bridge in Astoria Queens
♥ This original one of a kind Polaroid captures the historic Hell Gate Bridge taken from Astoria Park. It looks elegant on its own or paired with my others framed Polaroid pieces.
♥ Did you know? Hell Gate Bridge, constructed in 1916, was actually first named ‘Hellegat’ (from Dutch), which meant “Hell Channel”. This area was named so due to the violent and dangerous waterways that claimed the lives of many boats attempting to pass through this section of the East River. Learn more about its fascinating history from the New York Public Library.
♥ Frame measures 5" x 5" with a .8" depth and comes ready to stand on any flat surface.
♥ Please note the colors you see on your monitor may differ slightly from the print due to variations in monitor settings.
♥ Framed prints are packaged with bubblewrap and shipped securely.
