Historic Bates Cairn, Acadia National Park | Fine Art Nature Photo Wall Print

from $20.00

This photograph captures a Bates cairn along the Cadillac Mountain South Ridge Trail in Acadia National Park, Maine, set against the rugged rocky landscape with sweeping views of water below. Developed in the early 1900s by Acadia trail builder Waldron Bates, these distinctive cairns, made of large base stones, a mantel, and a top marker stone, were designed to clearly guide hikers along the trail.

This photo is printed on Luster paper, which is a traditional photographic paper with very subtle texture, and a slight sheen without being glossy.

Please note the colors you see on your monitor may differ slightly from the print due to variations in monitor settings.

Photographs are packaged securely and shipped flat.

This print does not come framed, but if you contact me I am happy to provide the framing sources I use.

Custom orders are welcome: Reach out to me if you are looking for a larger print size! I shoot on a full frame camera so the prints can get quite large while still remaining stunning quality.
